A massive decrease in the number of students has dropped public schools in Democrat-run Minneapolis into a financial crisis.
According to an internal memo obtained by local media, Minneapolis Publis Schools (MPS) Senior Financial Officer Ibrahima Diop wrote of an “imminent financial crisis” so serious that “[w]ithout significant changes, MPS will run out of money during the 2024-2025 school year and be unable to operate as it does now.”
Oh, yeah, that would be a real shame.
So what’s happening here….? To begin with, the federal government’s COVID money train is coming to a stop. But that’s not the existential crisis…Here’s what’s really happening…

Jeff Zuckerberg gave the Newark (NJ) city schools a gift of $100 million back in 2010. It was gone in an instant, with no visible benefit.
Things seemed fine with the first two. By the time of the third, 2018, we noticed the city was filthy, unkempt, and probably 50% of the retal businesses were vacant or abandoned.
The next thing we noticed was the local news broadcasts. Every story wasn't really the news, but a sales job scolding of the unfair treatment of Muslims and blacks. An example would be if the police department initiated a program placing resources proportionate to reported crime, that was racist and awful. The lead stories weren't actual crimes, but always how unfair it was to police in crime statistics heavy areas. The same themes over, and over, and over. When a crime did make the news, it wa always followed by, "the suspect was a victim of social injustice". Never a word about the victims of crimes, or the facts of the crime. The local media makes their content seem like a continuous advocacy commercial for criminals and a guilt lecture to the viewers for being victims.
Hotels we stayed at were mostly filled with state welfare agency clients / recipients, and patients discharged from emergency rooms at the public hospitals because it's cheaper to put them up in a hotel and send traveling nurses to check on them. Bizarre!
The local public libraries are no longer libraries. They are social services and community organizing headquarters, filled with BLM and ANTIFA members getting command and control coordination and services.
I give the cities of Minneapolis and St.Paul about another two years until they blow full scale "Open Societies blow-out" In anticipation and support of this happening, you now see the feds coming in to do message control and provide teeth for the criminal factions, while beating down the police. The feds will force the police to spend all if their time and resources on suicidal self fulfilling prophecy on the part of law enforcement. A federal police force largely already exists and that's where the conflict is coming from. The federally funded New police force is BLM, ANTIFA, Social agencies. Since they are, every crime or crisis will happen to suit their narrative and needs. This is the Beta test of Obama and Soros new citizen police force. Watch out folks.
