A search warrant has two parts.
The actual court order saying they can enter the particularly described location and search for the particularly described items and that is what is left with the store owner, in this case
The affidavit is the part where the affiant makes his/her case to the judge as to why they need to search and look for the items to be seized.
The affidavit is obtained by the defense prior to the discovery phase so they can challenge the validity of the affidavit where they have the chance to show that the warrant was bad and search invalid
It’s one of the things the Fed’s want kept from Pres Trumps lawyers for the Mar A Lago raid because no one knows what the probable cause was for the warrant.

And one of the odd things about this case is, more than likely, if they had just shown up and asked for the forms, he probably would have cooperated and given them to him.
The work should have been done while trump was in office , and it wasn’t. Should be expect a second trump return will yeild the same? Day one these agencies need to be neutered, reduced funding, unarmed, and purged

JMO, but I see the Federal government as a foreign occupying force. Their officers are and should be treated as such. Why does the Federal government have any jurisdiction outside of Federal land?
