If people got a bill every time Chair Force One and the other VIP fliers made one of these visits I think this would come to a pretty quick halt.

I don't know who pays the local PD and SO to run around with the massive federal people but the cost is high.

In 2017 someone spent a lot of time adding up the Trump travel numbers and the actual cost to run the AF1/2 jets is chump change compared to the fleet of aircraft that bring the security, communications, motorcade (yes including a black painted ambulance), patrol boats, all via air and paid for by us. Just the costs involved with the helicopters, surveillance aircraft, national guard fighters, and air traffic control is in the millions per hour.
