Funny and sad....was a time, only 40 years ago, when low flying military aircraft in the Bay Area was the norm....not something newsworthy....

Yes. Moffett Naval Air Station and Hamilton Field — before “base realignment.”

We used to have squadrons of P3s from Moffett flying over our house all the time headed to the Pacific for submarine searches. They were below 1,000 feet (it often felt like 500 feet!) and made everything in the house vibrate.
