House Select Committee on Intelligence chair, Ohio Republican Rep. Mike Turner, shared his thoughts Sunday about the upcoming closed-door testimony from Special Counsel John Durham.
Turner appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” and was interviewed by Jake Tapper about his plans for the Intelligence Committee.
“On Tuesday, your committee is going to hear closed door testimony from Trump-appointed Special Counsel John Durham. His report concluded that the FBI should not have launched the full Trump-Russia investigation as it did. It would have been ok to do a preliminary one but not the full-bore one. What do you want to know from former Special Counsel Durham?” Tapper asked.
“So this is very troubling. This is going to be troubling for you, especially as you read that the Durham report after the years of which there were these accusations of Trump/Russia collusion, and that these accusations were absolutely false,” Turner replied.

When there is no repercussions for government corruption they will immediately begin hashing out their next plot against conservatives, and especially Trump.
The answer to that question is to prosecute and jail those who hatched and implemented the plot. Otherwise the investigation was all for naught.
What is it Sundance at Conservative Treehouse says? Mueller was the bondo and Durham was the paint? (Or something along those lines). Both investigations were implemented to cover-up the crimes of the guilty parties. To this day, democrats believe the Mueller report confirmed that Trump conspired with the Russians to steal the 2016 election from Hillary. Both the Mueller and Durham reports wiped the slates clean for those responsible for tearing our nation apart for the past almost eight years. Now, they are free to continue with their next plot which you can see unfolding with the criminal persecution of the former President. You see that many of those involved with the R/T collusion conspiracy are also heavily involved in the Mar a Lago document indictment against Trump. They in no way suffered from their part in the previous conspiracy.
And as a side note, any republican that goes on Tapper's show is giving him credibility as an objective, fair, and unbiased reporter. He is not either of those things and will simply use anything said to further the left's narrative that Clinton and the democrats did nothing wrong.

Barr immediately defended Durham, saying it really wasn’t a Criminal Investigation. He was supposed to find out what happened, per Barr.

And people forget, Durham did charge someone on the Internet that could have threatened Adam Schiff. Seriously! What a joke.
Durham was to leave the FBi alone, and pursue this cabal where the FBi was misled. He never executed a raid. He let years pass while doing nothing. He never sought to get the personal devices of Strzok / Page / Comey - when their business phone texts showed the real dicey aggressive actions were only discussed on their personal devices and home PCs. Which is also Illegal.
Per the FBi - this was a counter-intelligence Investigation.
Arrest the FBI agents that committed fraud under color of law. Anything else is bullcrap.

Easy - DISSOLVE THE DHS.
The problem is we’ve legally unified all of the federal police agencies under one political banner. Instead of them all operating separately with their own budgets and personnel and leadership (as they were pre-DHS, thanks W) they were able to do counter ops ON EACH OTHER.
Or just dissolve the FBI, DHS and TSA altogether - I have no problem with that.

Durham’s priority was to prosecute some guy on the Internet that supposedly said in he hopes he never runs into Adam Schiff.
In the small little cases Durham waited five years to pursue, the DC Judge was the husband of the Get Trump Op’s Lisa Page.
Durham never objected or asked him to recuse.
Durham is the most reluctant wimp that ever roamed the Earth.
He could’ve expanded the Investigating, requested to change the venue, asked one hard questions, raised for Personal PCs / Phones they know the Get Trump Op Conspirators used, but he did absolutely nothing.
Stern words, and then gave them another out.
I would laugh, but this is a frightening government. I travel overseas a bit and will definitely watch what I say from now on. No off the cuff quips or snarky comments about this government.

if it actually qualifies, but trying to topple a sitting
president and toss an election to boot, sure isn’t what

One would think that being removed from their current positions and all security clearances being withdrawn would be the minimum repercussions for these people. But no! They still have those clearances and use that information to further their persecution of both Trump and his supporters. In addition, former intelligence personnel make money by being “security” experts and contributors to media sites such as CNN and MSNBC. It’s a mockery to national security that they are presented as the voice of reason and this nation’s security on talk shows every Sunday.
Take down Bugsy Shiff, for a start.
Not happen again? Give them a scrupulously fair 5-min trial, then publicly hang them in front of the Whitehouse. That would give the remaining commie-crats pause when they realize it could be their neck getting stretched next.
