Yea, While i would love to have the experience of seeing the Titanic wreck in person i really don't think i would do it. Sitting in a tin can at 100 feet is bad enough but 2.5 miles down? No way....

Hope the people are ok but i kinda doubt it.

Proving once again you do not need to be smart to make a lot of money

I am sorry that some people have more money than good sense

Would be kind of a cool trip if you have the scratch to spend. I’m sure that they had the people sign a release beforehand, like the Amazon space flights.

If there isnt a new crumpled can next to the wreckage then it may have been borrowed by another actor for use as a disposable asset.

Here is your potential problem from the article. A software crash or bug, and you are immobile.

‘Everything else is done with touch screens and computers, and so you really become part of the vehicle and everybody gets to know everyone pretty well.’

One of my claims to fame is that i am one of the very few people in the last 100 years to have actually touched the hull of the Titanic.

From the CBC... "Submarine bound for Titanic goes missing" - Submersible reported missing after it was overdue by a couple of hours Sunday evening

A small submarine bringing tourists to the Titanic has gone missing 370 kilometres off the coast of Newfoundland while diving to the legendary wreckage.

The company behind the mission — OceanGate Expedition — says it is "exploring and mobilizing all options to bring the crew back safely."

There is no word on how many people are on board the submersible, but it has a limit of five people.

"Our entire focus is on the crew members in the submersible and their families," a statement from OceanGate reads.

The submersible was reported missing after it was overdue by a couple of hours on Sunday evening, according to Chief Mi'sel Joe — head of the Mi'kmaq band, which owns the ship from which it had launched.

Joe said he's getting constant updates on the situation. He said another submersible is being flown in from the United States to join the search.

"Your mind wanders to what could have happened, but we just don't know," Joe said. "We just pray that everyone is OK."

Overdue by a 'couple of hours'???... That's reassuring.

“Hope the people are ok but i kinda doubt it.”

Upside is they were probably crushed before they knew what was happening.

“Tickets cost up to $250,000.”

That’s just for four days.

These Titanic Tourists’ are getting many more days for the same very low price of a quarter million dollars.

One would expect that it has capability to transmit signals as to the whereabouts of its location. Unless God forbid it experienced some all systems failure scenario.

NOW they are saying there are 5 people on board
]and if there are technical difficulties the sub is supposed to automatically surface
so hopefully it did and will be found

So the sub does not have any kind of device on it to let someone find it? Now that is foolish.

You pays yo money and takes yo chances.

Either the trip of a lifetime or give the next tour 2 wreck sites to view.
