Closing In on the Classified Cover-up
Table Mag ^ | FEBRUARY 08, 2023 | Lee Smith

At the center of the Biden document cover-up is the question of who blocked the National Archives and Records Administration from informing the U.S. public about the classified records found in the president’s office in early November. The archives’ general counsel told members of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability that he couldn’t divulge that information, but GOP House leadership concluded that only Attorney General Merrick Garland or Biden himself could have given those orders.

But there’s a third powerful name in play, this one from outside of the government: David Rubenstein. Co-founder of the Washington, D.C.-based private equity firm the Carlyle Group, Rubenstein is one of the archives’ most generous patrons. In 2013, the David M. Rubenstein Gallery at the National Archives was completed at a cost of $13.5 million. Rubenstein is also a major Biden ally. He has regularly hosted the Biden family at his Nantucket estate for Thanksgiving—in 2022, 2021, and 2014.

WOW! Who knew that the National Archives had patrons. Rubenstein is also a major Biden ally...... So why REALLY did the National Archives go after Trump! What effect did finding Biden has his own major problems with documents have to do with the Trump issue? What did patrons do?

When Trump took them out of there, they should have been considered all declassified. No one had an inkling that there were classified documents in any of the boxes.

There's a trick to this...because Biden could have re-classified every/any document that Trump de-classified.

Joe Biden has a substantial history of recklessness.

The Archives had a need for time to ensure that there were not other Biden document blunders.

I want the National Archives to be asked why they didn’t help pack up the WH, they helped presidents starting with Reagan, and why they didn’t arrange for the Trump boxes to go to a storage facility like they have done with all presidents after Carter. They apparently showed no interest in the boxes until they got to Mar a Lago. Why is that?

It smells like a setup to me.

“The leaked documents [of Airman Jack Teixerira] although still unauthenticated with some attributing them to being part of a misinformation campaign – were labeled “secret” and resembled routine updates that the U.S. military’s Joint of Staff would produce daily but not distribute to the public. They were dated ranging from February 23 to March 1, and detailed the progress of weapons and equipment going into Ukraine as well as U.S. spying efforts on Russian security services, NYT first reported.”

Joe Biden:

“I’m not concerned about the leak, I’m concerned that it happened. But there is nothing contemporaneous that I’m aware of”

Yes, looks like it was one of many plans to destroy Trump even after he left office. Also send a message to any Non Deep State people running for office.....

NARA altered procedure. They didn’t show interest, or do the jobs assigned. Then quickly went on the offensive. They absolutely have not kept track of, or been honest about, what others who were not POTUS have taken. They had to have known about Biden’s document heists, said nothing. They had to know about Obama, and the unguarded furniture warehouse. Said nothing. Then suddely, they are making crazy claims about Trump and send a FBI team in.......

Not a coincidence.

Either get rid of all private donors to the Archives as well as all that they have added there, or make the Archives private with no legal rgiht to obtain anything presidents do not donate to it.

“Who knew that the National Archives had patrons.”

*************

There are lots of other “patrons” providing money to other federal entities in DC. Lots of political tentacles that the congress should investigate/expose because these “donors” have connections, contacts and influence that enable them promote certain agendas. They are part of the DC Swamp.

MSN broadcast what seemed to be a recent interview(*) with Trump. His answers are portrayed in a poor light by 3 lawyer commentators. (Has anyone else on FR seen this?) One theme seemed to be that Trump was making haphazard statements and also actively resisted NARA requests for cooperation over a long period of time (something on the order of one year).

Seems as if it might look bad to anyone who has not been following the story closely.
