‘We will build the wall. NO EXCUSES.’
Who is "WE"?

And then what? Pick them up in Venezuela and all points south and fly them OVER the wall to Martha's Vineyard, Sacramento?

“I don’t see the incomplete wall as anything other than a participation ribbon for Mister Trump.”

You don’t recall the House, Senate, government agencies, Courts, and his Cabinet (along with media as they worked to move public opinion), all working against President Trump on the issue of border control? And, the Russia/Trump collusion Clinton created conspiracy was biting at his butt non-stop.

Do you not recall that at the same time he was being attacked on every other issue as well? And then of course, the first impeachment which stymied him from going after corruption.

Finally, the left hit him with the “we are all going to die” Covid “pandemic” in which they insisted that if he didn’t follow the “science” and Dr. Fauci’s recommendations, then he was trying to kill all the children not only in this nation but world-wide as well. I’m surprised they didn’t go through with the threats to impeach him again on the issue Covid. His mere mention that some scientists recommended and had some success with hydroxychloroquine as a treatment was enough to send everyone into a tailspin.

Everything was a “Constitutional crisis” this nation had never before seen according to the media. And of course, the entire time, the GOP wanted to go to war. It mattered not who with, but a war they wanted and they were constantly berating Trump for not bombing someone. It was never-ending. Go back and read the news articles from his four years as President.

The man worked miracles in just a few years. Our border was secure, wages were rising, and inflation was low. He was having to bull-doze his way through so much constant and unrelenting opposition that I’m surprised he accomplished as much as he did. Of course, they then delivered the final blow with the stolen election and the fake insurrection which they plan to use to jail him and stop him from returning this nation to freedom and posterity.

If you think Trump deserves only a “participation” trophy, then I wonder who you think will be able to do more than he did in just four years.

desantis supporter/likely nevertrumper makes it sound like Trump only constructed 47 miles of border wall.

For reference, of the 453 miles that were built, much of that was barbed wire, old landing mats like at san diego, or vehicle barriers, which resemble jumping jax, with a horizontal rail between them.

To see some of these, and see what an improvement to border security did, watch this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S024otpADnQ

So you can see, once again, desantis supporters lie and mis-represent things about Trump

There will NEVER be a wall.

UNLESS the legislative branch has the will to appropriate the funds to build it.

That is NOT my opinion.

That is how the Constitution works.

Trump is NOT a Republican.

That is why he has my vote.

There has NEVER been a majority of elected Republican officeholders who have favored building a wall.

The Republican wing of the Uniparty can blame the Democrats for the open border mess.

But the Republican wing of the Uniparty may be MORE responsible.

A POTUS elected on the Republican ticket wanted to fix it, but the Uniparty is open border globalist no matter how much they pretend and deflect not to be.

More lying and mis-representations from desantis supporters/likely nevertrumpers...

So it’s a participation ribbon for putting up the rail fencing, replacing existing barb wire, or vehicle barriers, that people can just walk over?

Right. liars...

*see previous video I posted to see what was replaced and went up

I don't see the incomplete wall as anything other than a participation ribbon for Mister Trump.

Trump’s lame attempt actually made the situation worse, and led to the massive rush. He never even took a stab at making Mexico pay for it either. There were lots of ideas on how to possibly do that given to him as well. Since I don’t believe in participation trophies I’ll give him a D. He didn’t completely fail, but was close.

desantis supporter/likely nevertrumper makes it sound like Trump only constructed 47 miles of border wall?

It is literally in my first sentence:

The Trump administration constructed 453 miles of border wall over four years, and a vast majority of the new barriers reinforced or replaced existing structures. Of that, about 47 miles were new primary barriers.

How’s it going through life with so little gray matter?

Trump caved to Paul Ryan, signing multiple no-wall spending bills.

So did Trump “back down” to Paul Ryan or not?

Only in ordering of events. He went for Obamacare first, which was a waste of time, because the Republican Congress did not have the stomach to pull the trigger.

On the Wall he pushed, and never backed down. He eventually found a way to get emergency military funding, despite getting NO HELP from the Republican Congress. I don't know exactly what contradiction you see here.

I hear you Salamander. Here at the hospital ER where I work in southern NJ I see these parasites all the time.

Typically some fat mamasita with two or three kids in tow and one in the oven dressed in designer duds and staring into smart phones.

You and I are paying for this. Every American taxpayer is on the hook for this.

And when congress doesn’t fund the wall, what will he do?

Empty promises for a campaign

Unlike Florida, where the entire state has his back, except for 3 counties, whats his plan for dealing with Schumer and the rest? Just ignore them, all the special interests that own the courts, Jefferies and pelosi.

Easy to run your mouth when you’re not actually in the arena doing the work.

“replacing existing structures?” You do realize that mostly means a couple strands of barbed wire, right? And here and there some repurposed scrap metal sheets. Hardly even qualified as “structures.”

So aside from that drivel , what plan does DeSantis have for getting around the obstruction of both parties in the House and a battery of lawfare shysters appealing to rogue judges?
