Any American who advocates an international climate tax to be imposed on Americans advocates giving aid and comfort to the domestic and foreign enemies of the United States.

"Macron calls for a new "international taxation" on top of current taxes to finance "climate efforts""

Perhaps global warming alarmist elites will be the first to explain why explain why greenhouse gasses like methane and CO2 fail to hold the heat down under the shadow of a midday solar eclipse of an otherwise warm sunny day.

Also, is it any surprise that nighttime temperatures typically keep dropping in various places until shortly after sunrise?

The bottom line is that government elites are dreaming up excuses to raise taxes imo. Putting a stop to government-manufactured global warming crisis seems to be the best excuse so far.

From related thread...

Consider that one of the main reasons that the drafters of the Constitution gave ordinary citizens voters the power to vote for House representatives is because House uniquely has the power to originate tax appropriations bills. So citizens could remedy tax-hungry lawmakers by voting them out of office.

In other words, politically correct, unaccountable global warming tax is taxation without representation for US citizens.

And if corrupt Congress wants to sell the global tax as foreign aid, consider that Justice Joseph Story had clarified that foreign aid is constitutionally indefensible.

If the tax be not proposed for the common defence, or general welfare, but for other objects, wholly extraneous, (as for instance, for propagating Mahometanism among the Turks, or giving aids and subsidies to a foreign nation, to build palaces for its kings, or erect monuments to its heroes,) it would be wholly indefensible upon constitutional principles [emphases added].” — Justice Joseph Story, Commentaries on the Constitution 2 (1833).

Also, global tax is based on federal government's constitutionally enumerated treaty power imo. The problem is that respected constitutional experts, including Supreme Court, have clarified that treaty power cannot be used as a back door to expand the federal government's powers.

"The obvious and decisive answer to this, of course, is that no agreement with a foreign nation can confer power on the Congress, or on any other branch of Government, which is free from the restraints of the Constitution." —Reid v. Covert, 1957.

In fact, consider that Thomas Jefferson, based on his experience as vice president and therefore president of the Senate which confirms treaties, had previously noted limits on federal treaty power.

Regarding 2024 elections, it's up to Democratic and Republican patriots to initiate the final stage of Trump 47's second term mission to finish draining the swamp by primarying as many of our beloved state and federal lawmakers and executives as we can.

After all, lawmakers and executives continue to show that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.

In fact, given that one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the unconstitutionally big federal government to dictate domestic policy is to run the Mail Service (most federal domestic policy actually based on stolen state powers), the worst problem that the peacetime country would otherwise be looking at with a new Congress of freshman lawmakers is a delay with mail delivery.

"Article I, Section 8, Clause 7: To establish Post Offices and post Roads;"

Trump can endorse candidates that Constitution-savvy patriots recommend as long as candidates are not incumbents, candidates also promising to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments after they win office.

The definition of insanity is reelecting your beloved career state and federal lawmakers and executives over and over again, expecting those same politicians to find remedies for unconstitutional government policies every time.

“international taxation” = American taxpayers need to pay for everything.....

That's exactly what that means!

Not that I’d agree to this. But in order to have worldwide fairness. Every human must pay 10 dollars a year. Good luck Africa! And governments cannot pay for you.

States and national governments who have dug their populations into high tax holes are seeking a way out of problems of their own creation.

Maybe instead of chanting in the street wearing their yellow vests that hasn’t achieved anything in several years, the French need to do something actually useful and drag Macron to a large tree and dispatch him in one afternoon.

Macron rates better than a rope.

Paying taxes for something we basically can’t change should suggest to most anyone that the money is actually just ending up in someone’s back pocket. Like so many other things these days.

Are not Americans already paying "international taxes"
with the hundreds of billions of dollars in foreign aid
give-aways and taking up the financial slack of deadbeat
NATO allies?
