Exactly. With a background in physics I at least can think in "orders of magnitude" offhand, even without being a genius.
Sadly, it seems large portions of the populace are incapable of such. Perhaps driven by the constant drip of climate propaganda.
Just a few days ago a local annual fireworks event was cut short from previous years because of "CO2 emissions" considerations. Half an hour of a fireworks display will harm the climate. Yes, they are THAT stupid.
