This sounds like a taking by the government for government purposes.

And when she loses her rental, will anyone be shocked if it ends up in the portfolio of Blackrock or Vanguard?

100% right. We’re witnessing the destruction of property rights. There was a reason that only property owners were allowed to vote was because they’re the ones footing the bills!!

We met with a CPA in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho this week. Her dad owns 40 properties in town and he’s never had this problem. In fact, if a tenant misses a couple payments, he can change the locks and put their stuff on the street. No sheriff involved or year-long eviction process. And certainly no three year moratorium on paying rent.

If you cannot evict, the bank should be forced to forgive the mortgage payments during that same time frame. Some poor sap with one or two rentals has to eat it.... not the renters, not the bank, just the landlord.

I have feeling that she didn’t learn a thing from this and pulls the lever for the same idiots she voted for last time.

Deadbeat scumbags need to pay their debts. Maybe we should bring back debtor prisons to deal with these aholes.

It’s still worse in Boise, Twin Falls, Blaine County and Moscow. The newspaper her is horrendously liberal. There was a “pride” event downtown a week ago and the CdA Press had disgusting fawning coverage of it on the front page.

If you can’t evict those responsible for that should pay.
Not the banks fault. Not the landlords fault

1) Take two pillow cases and cut along the seams
2) sew pillow cases together
3) put sewn pillow case over head and shoulders of unsuspecting interloper
4) beat interloper with socks filled with soap
5) repeat if necessary
Problem solved

The 69-year-old estimates she is owed more than $60,000 in back rent, money she doubts she will ever see. Moreover, the tenants have trashed her house and it will cost tens of thousands of dollars to make it habitable, she says.If that were my house, the 'renters' wouldn't still be breathing.
