As far as I understand , hydro electric is the cheapest’ “cleanest” energy possible, it’s just using turbines to take advantage of already flowing water, with an added bonus of flood control.

First off , it was the article that made the assertion, and salmon has many subspecies, so take up the endangered species designation with fish and Wildlife.

I also was raised on the Puget sound, and I’ve never met a commercial fisherman who didn’t hate the foreign fishing / canning ships.
