Trump Insists He Did Not Show Classified Material in Leaked Audio: ‘It Was Bravado’

This is the real problem, Trump just runs his mouth--continuing supports drink it up, others cringe. We've had four years of Trump in office, mix results, many not lasting. It would have been great had he won reelection, but that was stolen, he went cheap on attorneys and recounts, so that was lost. He never took control of the party when he was president, so they have never helped him. We've now had years of drama, often drawing out the worst in Trump. So that brings us to 2023, do we support Trump for 2024 or move on? I recently chose to move on. The continued persecution of Trump must be fought, I still do object to it, criticize it, point out that it is wrong, and that in fairness we should be PROSECUTING the Bidens, and lots of other folks. That doesn't change that I also, simultaneously feel we need to move on from Trump. Whether that choice is DeSantis (my current preference) or someone else, time will tell. We've still got SEVEN MONTHS until the first primaries and caucuses and SIXTEEN MONTHS until election day. That's a lifetime.

Trump speak in hyperbole and bravado, not hard facts. We all know this. It's his charm, it drives critics insane. But when we get to legal matters, it is problematic. And when we get to elections, it is damning. Consider all of the drama, has Trump added a single new voter likely to vote for him. Doubtful. Does he have the same 81 million ready to vote again for him, doubtful. This is a death by a thousand cuts and he is too often doing it to himself.

Can Trump STFU? No. He's now admitted to ABC that he was lying. His defense to Smith's charges is that he was lying. Will that win him credibility and votes? Doubtful.

Do we want a martyr in 2024 or do we want to win? I prefer winning.

i just read into witness accounts of gunfire coming from the theatre...

will he lie? for sure. would witnesses lie? unknowingly perhaps...

official police reports are usually lacking... if i were his lawyer i would say the dead victim grabbed my gun and shot me in the stomach so i grabbed it back and shot him... in self defense... a lie, but the best one he’s got.

Of course it matters....the fact they leaked this, which is heresay , which is not one of the 31 charges against Trump says two things. This doc doesnt actually exist or cant be found ...and they have nothing much going on with the current batch of docs they intend on using against Trump...or theyd have leaked that instead. Isnt it amazing this is the biggest leak so far? Guess we’ll see.
