Where is impoundment in the Constitution? The executive branch has the power to veto, the check and balance to the legislature’s passing of a bill. Why would we even want a president to have that power? Like the line-item veto, it sounds good until a bad guy is office.

Vivek Ramaswamy was discussing this on Kudlow yesterday.

I almost wouldn’t be surprised if VR were Trump’s VP pick. They seem to be on the same page on many issues. Kudlow told Vivek that Trump admires him.

The easiest way is to just build Quonset huts in Nome, AK. Transfer the whole dept there. You get a cot, land phone, fax no internet. See ya. One by one.

It would be great if Trump could starve the beast to death. But Congress, like all governments, hate to give up the power they have stolen.
