Hey! AOC! Point out one word where his statement is wrong. Just because you don’t like what he said doesn’t mean it’s “profoundly disrespectful”.
Where’s AOC condemning her side calling Thomas, “not really black”.
Is that not disrespectful too? Or is it ok when her side does it?
I see nothing in her resume that sets her apart from 10,000 other lawyers other than race.
She comes from the new generation that has no respect for those who came before them, for the traditions built over the centuries by the people who came before them, she demands the same respect immediately that those who came before her earned from a career that spanned decades, and she thinks it's her mission to fundamentally change the institution that she just joined.

The former bar hog reminds me of un-and under-educated government employees who became supervisors, and whose language suddenly was filled with the ubiquitous phrases of government management. They parroted the words, but everything they did reinforced the image of them as uneducated and basically ignorant.
How does that old bar fly get quoted so often? Is she being groomed for something more in line with her conception of her greatness?
The new justice said nothing related to the law. She dissented in emotions and feelings. That’s not her job. As a matter of fact it’s dangerous as hell.

And in doing as you’ve described she demonstrates precisely the kind of thinking by which so-called Democrats want to govern the entire country, and the hell with the law! A few more like her on the Court and this country will be turned into a grotesque caricature of what it once was!
AOC is profoundly dishonest.

People like her used to call people like Thomas “uppity.” now it’s “disrespectful.”
These children today (And yeah, AOC is a child, despite her age) were never taught that respect is earned, not given.
If we are unwilling to do our duty, maybe we should not complain...
I think Justice Thomas was very respectful and wrote the rebuttal very well ... and he restrained from calling her a fool.
Clarence Thomas is being disrespectful?! After all the garbage that was thrown at him during his confirmation hearings, and he’s being disrespectful?!
