President Joe Biden reportedly used his influence to pressure the University of Pennsylvania to admit his granddaughter to college — then appointed the president of the university to a plum ambassadorship.
Last week, in reaction to the Supreme Court’s decision on racial preferences in college admissions, Biden denounced “practices like legacy admissions and other systems that expand privilege instead of opportunity.”

The Ivy League is easily bought. Members no longer have the status of, say, a Northwestern, or even an Arizona State. Brown is a glorified but expensive junior college; Cornell is a school for red diaper babies. Columbia is a joke. Etc.
When you take into account: (1) legacies (children of alums) (2) whales (children of the rich), and (3) the seats set aside for minorities, then the remaining seats available based on merit are small and the competition for those few seats is brutal.
But if you’re a racist, you think almost all of (1) and (2) are white, so it’s fair to set aside seats for minorities. On the other hand, if you aren’t privileged, and think you should have a chance, you’re called a racist for thinking all people, regardless of color, should be treated the same.
If I were President I would have done the same.
Look, Biden is being moved out. Newsom is the candidate.
But the DNC dream is that the GOP will do the heavy lifting so that when Biden dies the death of 1000 cuts, it’s those wascally Wepublicans who the public will blame.
Such a setup. Stevie Wonder could see it.
Someone should use his influence to get Hunter Biden into the pen.

Joe Biden is the very picture of “white privilege”. He has used that stepping stone all the way up, mostly in the affirmation of every wrong decision he has ever made.
And most of his decisions, on just about every level, have been wrong decisions. Either of benefit largely to himself, or to thwart good sense and a modicum of justice.
Hey, just Joe being Joe. That excuse is wearing pretty thin by now.

Then take a look at what ambassador posting that former university president received.
Also, take a look at the “job” Biden had as a visiting professor at U Penn. A “job” for which he was paid much money for doing little to no work.
The under the table deals between Biden and the U Penn and the players there have been going both ways for a long time.
If a Republican was in a similar situation the Dee-Oh-Jay would have started an investigation and laid charges months/years ago.
