The huge extent of damage and vandalism caused in nearly a week of nightly riots in France has been dramatically underlined with a summary of recorded burnings so far, with the toll running to thousands of vehicles and buildings.
Ministry of the Interior figures taking account of damage to people and property during the now six nights of riots triggered by the shooting death by a police officer of an Algerian heritage teenager in a Paris suburb at a traffic stop reveals there have been 5,662 vehicle fires so far, reports Le Parisien.

It’s been reported that those mostly peaceful protests have now spread to Belgium and Switzerland.
Yup! And surely justified. Have the PROtesters been released yet? They gonna let ‘em loose on Bastille day?
Belgium will be first to fall to the Muslims.
I’m sure they looked down their noses when the BLM riots and many others over the years plagued the US. Welcome to the party pal or should we say mes amis?
The riots are getting DAMN CLOSE to the insurrection level. They now have the numbers for that, as their fighting aged men likely outnumber the police/military by at least 10 to 1. It’s just a matter of time, now, until they make the final push.
When you open your doors to terrorists, you get terrorism.
So 1000 buildings burned. You’d think Al Gore would rush in, and lecture the rioters about how this affects the planet’s climate.
But it’s not too late, Mr. Gore! The riots haven’t yet ended. So get in there, and earn yourself another Nobel Prize.

Oh yes. I just live a peace, hypocrisy-filled, protest. Like when mobs gather to tackle police violence, they sure show their motives when they resort to throwing bottles and rocks at the cops...SMH
I know a several french expat families. They are “proud Frenchmen,” but have all told me, they don’t want to return to France, nor would they ever send their children there for school or for work.
Its quite sad.
On the other hand, they all thought Obama was wonderful, laughed at Trump and called him names, etc. etc.
I think I see the problem with these a$$****$. I bet the same kind of magical thinking infects the whole of France.
I’m sure there are a lot of sacre bleus being said these days.
