Ukraine accuses Russia of planting explosives on nuclear plant’s roof
NY Post ^ | 07/05/2023 | Snejana Farberov

Ukraine claimed that Russian troops occupying the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant had planted bombs on the facility’s roof in preparation for an imminent sabotage – even as Moscow accused Kyiv of plotting a “false-flag” attack.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in his nightly address Tuesday that he told France’s Emmanuel Macron in a phone conversation about Russian “dangerous provocations” at the plant in southeastern Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin’s forces seized control of Zaporizhzhia — Europe’s largest nuclear facility — in the first days of the invasion in February 2022, and it has remained in Russian hands for the past 16 months.

The two sides have regularly traded accusations of shelling around the plant and risking a nuclear catastrophe.

Russia and their whacky military strategies, (courtesy of the MSM)

They blow up their own pipelines in the North Sea, while leaving those running right through Ukraine intact

They shell their own troops stationed at nuclear power plants

They blow up their own bridges needed to get to Crimea

They massacre Russian speakers in Russian-speaking villages

They blow up damns they control and operate

Now they will blow up a nuclear power plant their engineers built, and they have been operating since the start of the war.

Add that to Zelensky the clown’s recent propaganda list.

-We will cut off the land bridge and recapture Crimea
-Russia blew up their own Nordstream pipeline
-The “Ghost of Kyiv”
-Russian missile hit Poland farm
-Russia blew up the dam

What an imagination the con man has!

Yes....they’re gonna plant explosives on the roof of ZNPP, the one place they’re visible to enemy surveillance.

If such is used as a way to back door Article 5, I din’t think its going to be recieved the way Biden’s handlers think, no matter what the mockingbirds say or how many spam posts the usual suspects make in FR.

Right, russians would never blow up a dam to slow down attackers, its not like they have done that in the past.

The 1941 blow-up was to stop a large advancing army. Here, there was no Ukrainian advancing army — it was clearly a guerrilla action undertaken to destroy Crimean territory taken by the Russians. Zelensky has learned that the western fake news media will false flag the Russians for anything he does.

You are using a non sequitur argumentatively and as a strawman. No one here has said Russia has never nor would ever blow up a damn as a military action.

What we are saying is Russia had more to loose than Ukraine. The damn Zelinsky blew up was more a negative outcome for Russia.

Also how it was blown up was much more akin to a low budget guerilla group than a professional military. Russia could have easily taken it out without all the subterfuge and amateur explosives, seriously, bombs placed in an car with the roof removed to allow Ukraine to conveniently take pictures? I swear the neocons here will just about swallow anything the LSM puts out these days about Russia and Ukraine!

What we are saying is Russia had more to loose than Ukraine.

Right, it stopped ANY Ukrainian offensive in that area, but that somehow hurts russia more. Okay

How EXACTLY did it hurt russia more?

Here, there was no Ukrainian advancing army

Right, blowing up the main crossing in that area on the Dnieper and flooding the land ensured there would be NO counter-offensive in that area.

Some of them who were slow to leave got their socks wet?

I don’t know, I can’t imagine how these Russian fluffers think.

Zelensky knows too much detail of the planned attack. It is him and his puppet masters planning the attack and not the russians.

I remember when Nordstream blew up, the crazies on FR absolutely insisting that it had to be the Russians, and anyone who disagreed was stupid and evil.

Now no one thinks the Russians did it.

I remember when Assad was accused of gassing his own people... and now no one believes it.

I remember when Russia was accused of blowing up the nuclear power plant....

Ukraine was not advancing to anything, it disrupted Russian assets and risked Russian troops as they were on the side impacted by the flooding.

Try asking yourself why Russian troops were surprised and appear to have suffered casualties from the damn break. Does that sound like a Russian defensive? Or are you of the ilk that believes Putin is happy to kill his soldiers in such an action, kind of a lot of special pleading there to justify that.

You just keep believing the LSM narrative though.
