The responsibility of “solving” child hunger belongs to their parents - not the public at large.
When Covid hit-—The local school buses were DELIVERING lunches to local kids-—rural—FULL size buses that cost alot in fuel.
I WAS LIVID.
One word - parents. They should be held accountable for taking care of a child's needs, including food. There are lots of social services programs to help poor parents. Why aren't they held accountable? Why aren't the parents of hungry kids held accountable? Parent(s)!
This isn’t about child hunger.
It’s about encouraging dependency and growing the bureaucracy.
