Yes, these same people of whom many can not identify the main functional types of firearms or distinguish among single shot or semi or fully automatic or briefly identify the main firearms laws of their state and/or municipality (as well as federal).

It was just a year ago that lawmakers passed gun control measures in response to a wave of shootings that year.

And look what that did. NOTHING. But these idiots think that taking guns from law abiding citizens will stop the criminals.

FU Chuck!

Yet women are the largest growing group of firearm owners.

Since the Democrats in government supported riots in 2020, people know they're on their own and can't trust government.

Women in particular know that Democrat District Attorneys will prosecute men who try to protect them.

Be brave Chucky, go an inch deeper in your thinking and consider that these guns do not pull their own trigger. Be even more brave, and call out those groups of people as the problem, and help ensure they are punished for violent crime.

Or, take the route that doesn’t help people but gets you re-elected.

Cities do not need any more gun laws, they just need to enforce the laws on the book already.

“More needs to be done on gun safety today,” he said.

Gun safety means more laws to make it harder and more expensive for the law abiding to purchase firearms and gun control ALWAYS leads to gun confiscation.

Okay, who is committing gun crimes and what do we do about them? Maybe, where are gun crimes being committed and what can we do there? The net result is that mostly black Americans in selected Democrat run urban areas cause a majority of gun crimes. That shifts to hispanic when you get to Democrat run urban areas with more hispanic than black Americans. So shouldn’t the focus be on these Democrat run urban areas?

If they are really serious about gun control maybe, just for practice, they should get the guns out of the hands of street thugs first.

Maybe after that refreshing scrimmage they could take on legal gun owners and see how that works for them.

Demographically speaking during Covid, a lot of urban people/families moved to the suburbs. This is who they are talking about.

Baltimore is the one place I ever go where I feel naked without packing heat... The goofiest looking people I ever see in DC or NY at least look like they came from this planet; the same cannot be said for Baltimore.

Our democrat mayor here in Indianapolis, who is worthless, but up for reelection, is running an ad aimed at young women. In the ad, four young, diverse women all make a comment concerning the republican pro-life, pro-2nd candidate to the effect of “I won’t vote for a man who will ban abortion, but not assault weapons.” It’s actually pretty effective. I’m guessing it will resonate with a certain demographic. If it’s successful I imagine we’ll see similar ads next year in the national elections.
