With the plethora of quality homeschool curriculum, YouTube videos of actual experts in science, math, computers, engineering, calculus, biology, etc. you know, the subjects parents feel unqualified to teach, it’s available right now for free (YouTube, not curricula) why would a parent NOT do it if they had the chance? Especially if you can avoid all the negative social and political pressure that students have to endure.

You don’t need a teaching certificate or degree to be an effective teacher. Just on paper.

Cash vouchers for education purposes would buy a lot of paper-books too.

As public education and the teacher’s unions get backed into a corner over declining enrollment, they will almost certainly double down on their lobbying to keep getting those juicy taxpayers dollars, and to put private and religious schools, and *especially* home schooling on the forbidden list.

They don’t care how popular they are, or how children thrive with them, the unions will do *anything* to suppress them.
