Actually, Ukraine needs a philosophy. One that does not involve nazi worship and ethnic cleansing.
I suspect the Russians might retaliate with their cluster weapons ....MIRVs.
Well huh.
Artillery-delivered cluster munitions.
What an idea!
We need to send the Nazis in Ukraine nukes. That will stop the war dead in its tracks. /s
Oh oh. Sounds like the far-left turd rollers are turning on their boyz, Bidenskyyyyy and Zelenskyyyyy. Once the turd rollers start with that dumbass Geneva Convention crap you can chalk another one up for the bad guys.
Another small step down the road to WW III, Europe will be the battleground but—it will spread to the Middle East, South America and Africa. (Perhaps Asia too? Korea and Viet Name if not the Pacific Ocean. I think it may go to Alaska too. The war will come here as well. We do not need a world war. Give peace a chance. We can send men and tanks to Ukraine and Poland. But how about Venezuela, Namibia, Angola and South Africa? Fight Chinese drones in Vietnam and human waves in Korea? No, this war we might lose. best to never fight the thing. VOTE FOR DONALD “Peacemaker” TRUMP!
Sir, that was very UNFAIR < sarc > of you to notice any historical precedent, because there are NONE when today's neo-cons and new liberal order types declare there to be none. Winston Smith observes for us, "Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past...."
The attempts to take the moral high ground by some fail to note the irony that "taking the high ground" is itself a military strategy.
As to strategy, one thinks about Hamburger Hill, of which "US command ordered its capture by a frontal assault, only to abandon it soon thereafter." And then we abandoned Saigon from the roof of the embassy. Moral high ground in 1969. Moral high ground in "1984." Moral high ground today. Hmm.
You want to end this senseless war? Three munitions, a ten megaton airburst at a thousand feet over Moscow, Stalingrad and Leningrad. War’s over boys. Why just continue to dick around sending billions of dollars worth of our needed munitions? The Moderator will probably ban me! I shouldn’t have wrote that, but I did. Peace please come soon.
"There are reports of illegal cluster bombs and vacuum bombs being used by the Russians," the reporter stated. "If that’s true, what is the next step of this administration? And is there a red line for how much violence will be tolerated against civilians in this manner that’s illegal and potentially a war crime?"
"It is — it would be. I don’t have any confirmation of that. We have seen the reports. If that were true, it would potentially be a war crime," Psaki replied at the time. "Obviously, there are a range of international fora that would assess that. So, certainly, we would look to that to be a part of that conversation."
I shouldn't have to say this: the Biden Administration has no ethics.
I was just wondering why they don’t extend their logic to full scale nuclear war.
War pigs.
If we use them, we should expect to receive them. Period. I don’t expect if “WE” are using them that “WE” will complain about getting them, and that is how it should be.
I don’t understand the last line of your post: “Cheer yours, when “they” are on the receving end. Complain about theirs, when “we” are on the receiving end. That’s how we do it. Did it. Will continue to do it.”
Can you show me where the United States used “banned” munitions and then complained when they were used against us? Perhaps there is a case out there that I have forgotten or am unfamiliar with, and that context if you can remind me, would be valuable.
From the Journalism Redundancy School of Redundant Journalism.
I predict these munitions will be used against civilians in Donetsk and Luhansk.
Russia uses their cluster munitions and white phosphorous on Ukrainian civilians; Ukraine will use US cluster munitions on Russian troops.
PSST: they degrade after a specific time.
Where’s the outrage about Russia’s use of cluster munitions on civilians?
Ozzie wrote a song about it.
Very legalistic of you, sir. Do you mean banned NOW or banned because they should never have been allowed / developed. And only when used against us? But not when used against others? You quite as clever as "special" Jack Smith.
Review the entire Wiki on the topic. Russia's mentioned. We're mentioned....

Cluster bombs have not been used against the US yet. Give it time, alas. Given the allegations that weapons sent to Ukraine are sometimes going "through" Ukraine suggest things. We might discuss Agent Orange from the Vietnam experience, not that the youngsters would be learning about that. After all, no nation has as yet used Agent Orange on us.
Well, they’re gonna be used to kill some ******g Russians so that makes it OK. /S
.
Behind the scenes Biden is selling the $$$ and Weapons to Republicans in exchange for their commitment to oppose an Impeachment Inquiry.
Biden always starts out saying Never, and later comes around. We’ve seen Manchin use the Technique to get all kinds of stuff for his Vote.
