At age 13, Ash Eskridge was severely under the influence, but not of drugs or alcohol — of TikTok.
The brunette told The Post that trendsetters on the popular app wrongfully convinced her that she was transgender.
“I saw TikTok videos by influencers saying how that transitioning saved their life,” said Eskridge, now 16, from Missoula, Montana.
After becoming depressed at 12, she leaned on the virtual platform as an emotional crutch.
“I was struggling and wanted it to save my life, too,” she told South West News Service.
It was just after the pandemic that the Gen Zer joined the crowd: As part of what’s been dubbed “Generation COVID,” Ash spent the majority of her recreational hours scrolling through social media, where viral hashtags such as #transgender and #trans have amassed a staggering 21.5 billion and 59.6 billion views, respectively.
According to 2022 Pew Research Center research, TikTok has a massive impact on up to 67% of teens 13 to 17. A 2021 study on its sway, conducted by the Shanghai United International School in China, found that the digital space contains “over-exaggeration content that shapes teenager’s value in a misleading way.”

I suspect 99.99 percent of pre-teens throughout history have managed to navigate through those difficult few months or couple of years, and come out on the other side and be happy with their body and the fact that they are either a female or male. Social media "influencers" and sick pedophile groomers take advantage of children's uncertainty at that age and convince them they will be happy if only they decide they are of the opposite sex.
I've also noticed that they seem to prey on autistic pre-teens who are looking for acceptance. Given the fact that we seem to have a growing number of children that are exhibit those attributes and are given such a diagnosis, they seem to have a large number of potential victims to choose from when selecting their prey.
I read a story earlier today (link below), and immediately realized this child was one such victim.
In addition, locking children away from anything other than social media for two years, will probably have a long-term effect on those that were just at "that age" from which our nation may never recover.

This paragraph makes me ill:

“Assigned?!!!!” No one is “assigned” a male or female gender at birth! You are either a male or female (usual disclaimer that a tiny tiny percentage of people are born with physical anomalies). To say otherwise is denying science (to use a favorite phrase by the left).
The silly “gender reveal” celebrations of the last decade has been replaced by gender reveal celebrations of five year old children whose parents have finally decided that their daughter couldn’t be a horse, cat, or unicorn, but she could definitely by aged five decide to be a boy.
The adults who participate in the mutilation of children are particularly loathsome. Deluded parents and teachers who secretly transition troubled children are despicable. However the most scorn is reserved for physicians who prescribe the drugs and do the mutilating surgery. They are no different than Josef Mengele, the German concentration camp “doctor” who mutilated and killed helpless people. Hope these “physicians” live with the thought that their “patients” will one day revisit them.
She is now likely infertile and statistically more likely to have various cancers,
Psych issues and heart disease.
Let’s affirm everyone in the “gender” into which they are born.

Isn’t that the truth? One has to wonder how such “physicians” came to the point that they believe they are “affirming” care. What about just helping the child to affirm their own sex and becoming comfortable in their bodies. They insist in doing so for the morbidly obese as they tell them that being overweight is just who they are and anyone that doesn’t want to date them or advises them to eat properly and exercise is just “fatphopic”.
Overweight people are told just to become comfortable in their own bodies and embrace who they are. Why does that not apply to pre-teens who are confused due to social media influences?

On my medical records it now says “assigned male at birth”. That’s what they’re doing now, all over.
