Her first conviction was over turned in the late 70’s i believe...she was out for awhile, got re tried and was convicted again. Her lawyers claimed the stab wounds she inflicted on Rose Mary Labianca were all “post mortem”. Like that makes any difference. Then again, they have released others that have done far worse. She did dodge the gas chamber in 1976....I say let her rot and die where shes at...

I’m sure her lawyers were trying to plant the seed of ‘reasonable doubt’ in at least one juror’s mind. But, in fact, it would make a big difference if she ‘merely’ stabbed a corpse. The assassination of Julius Caesar and Murder on the Orient Express come to mind.
