Donald Trump was president for four years and in that time was unable to resolve the Ukraine-Russia conflict, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an interview that aired Sunday, rejecting as pure fantasy the Republican's claim that he could end the war in a day.
Speaking in Kyiv with ABC's Martha Raddatz, Zelenskyy said there were some "dangerous signals coming from particularly politicians" regarding future aid to Ukraine, though he noted the question of future support is "up for Americans to decide, and I would hate to interfere."
While many Republicans back the Biden administration's military support, including a recent package that includes controversial cluster munitions, the party's MAGA wing — including grassroots activists, Trump, and his rival for the presidential nomination, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — have suggested the conflict is a distraction from domestic priorities.

Ukraine and Russia are deadlocked. 3 years from now, nothing will have changed.
Welcome back.....
Gosh, one could almost think that Zelensky was profiting from this war.
It’s true. Still Trump should say it because it puts the onus on the neocons who don’t want it to end.
Sometimes you just have to let nature take its’ course. Where does it lead us all? Was the Holocaust a part of nature? The hatred is out there. So is evil. Everyone armed just might be a necessity. Everyone being in 2 armies just in case one goes down.
Trump represents a significant threat to Zelensky and the war machines income.
I got an image of my head of Trump as Arnie in the Terminator where Zelenskj says this and Trump replies “&$*% you, a$$&le”
Why don’t you invite him to try!
Enough death.
55% of Russian GDP is oil/energy.
Drill Baby, Drill.
Exactly which wars started during his term as President Mr. Z.? This guy is still a comedian in my opinion.
Trump could in fact end the war quite fast (maybe not in a day) if he became president and led NATO to a new position where it forced Ukraine to negotiate on less friendly terms than they might wish. At this point, it seems like a choice between that or a very long and destructive conflict, not really in their long-term interest.
Despite the obvious fact that Russia has violated international law, it might be time for Ukraine to consider cutting their losses and reaching a settlement, possibly with NATO membership as a reward (so Russia would be less likely to resume the special military operation as they call their invasion).
Oh really?
Pres Trump: Effective today the US will not send anymore taxpayer money, weapons, ammunition, or equipment to Ukraine. Any and all entities of the United States that have been assisting the corrupt Ukrainian government, led by Zelensky, in any way are being withdrawn completely. And finally, the US will no longer be the lead nation with regards to NATO as it begins to come up with a plan to withdraw from the alliance and instead, establish treaties and pacts with individual countries. This withdrawal from NATO also means that US military bases, within the European continent will be reviewed for their benefit to the United States and it’s allies, and in many cases US troops will be coming back home and the bases closed.
Real life isn’t the movies or the internet.
Flipping off Zelensky or Putin isn’t going to end the war or achieve anything good.
Yep, immediately stop all US aid and wait a day or two.
There are no good guys in this war....yes Joey, this includes you! FJB
Zelinski is too full of himself. All aid should stop, everything should be recalled.
All Trump has to do is tell Zelensky to take the deal the Ukes negotiated before the massive NATO escalation last summer. Hopefully they would get the same deal before the immediate and massive NATO DE escalation.
Yes, and India is buying a lot of it to fund Russia’s war.
Bingo. ****
People just don't get it. Trump could easily end that war in one day, regardless of what that stooge Zelensky says.
