Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is expected to meet with NATO leaders this week as heads of state converge on the Baltic state of Lithuania for a two-day summit.
Zelensky’s visit to Vilnius will come on Wednesday, the last day of proceedings, Bloomberg reported. The 45-year-old previously pressed NATO for clarity on whether Ukraine can eventually join the Atlantic alliance.
Ahead of the summit, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, who recently received a one-year term extension, stressed that the meeting would not result in Ukraine being invited to become the bloc’s 32nd member.
Other NATO leaders have all but ruled out allowing the war-torn country to become a member until its conflict with Russia ends — though the topic of Ukraine will still dominate discussion.

How dare NATO ignore Zelensky,
Don't they know who he is?
Zelensky is such a Ham Actor and is always wanting even more attention, I can imagine him ‘crashing’ NATO, just to make news.
Maybe he will play the piano for them and they can stuff Euros in the tip jar.
And the piano, it sounds like a carnival
And the microphone smells like a beer
And they sit at the bar and put bread in my jar
And say man what are you doin’ here?
la la dit tee da ah the piano man
I think NATO’s going to give up. The Ukes haven’t penetrated even the first line of defense and they wanted to get to Crimea by now.
Isn’t one supposed to have 5:1 men for an offensive?
Little Uke poser knows his days are numbered.

I’m sure in certain places, Russia does. The problem is that so much of the fields are mined by both Russia and the Ukraine on opposing sides, once the Russians find a spillpoint, they’ll secure it and then focus on opening one somewhere else. Then you’ll probably see on/off offensive movements in varying parts of the line.
The one thing you won’t see is attacks by motorized vehicles. It’s probably going to be infantry fighting from treeline to treeline.
But this all depends on the NATO conference. If the money is shutdown or there’s a strong indication of reticence, you probably will hear the press talk about ‘stalemate’ and the two parties will sit down and discuss a peace treaty. It will probably be brokered by someone OTHER than a NATO power.
Zelensky is going to beg NATO/US to attack Russia. He’s out of options, he’s losing, and he knows a Russian bullet has got his name on it.
