A Ukrainian veteran who lost his leg in the war was booted from a flight as he sobbed asking for help getting home from Israel.
A viral video published on TikTok Saturday shows the veteran, who has not been publicly identified, standing with crutches at the front of the plane, speaking with crew members before the Wizz Air flight was set to take off from Tel Aviv to Warsaw, Poland.
According to the uploader, @mbbddk, the flight crew for the Hungary-based airline said the man could not take his seat because of his prosthesis.
The veteran desperately tried to explain that he lost his leg fighting against Russia’s invasion, and that he was trying to get back to his family in Ukraine.

Yeah, mine is a suction mounted prosthetic...Unscrew a small valve seat and it just slides off...
You mean the globe-trotting Jewish Nazi dictator of Ukraine couldn’t pick him up in Israel on his way back from Turkey? It’s only 832 miles away.
We are obligated to deny boarding
But he had already boarded, he wasn't denied boarding. He had difficulty taking his assigned seat. They could have asked front row passengers if they would exchange their seat to enable this man to return to Ukraine. Had I been there, I would have offered my seat without being asked.
The Russians invaded Israel?
Oh my, lol
Why?
Hilarious. So much to unpack here LOL.
Could be, but that is no excuse for denying someone their humanity.
