I read it and my math comes out differently. The youngest person to qualify had to be at least 18, that is a legal adult, in 1969, therefore born in 1951. So that would make the youngest 72 or so. How to prove you were living in Evanston in 1969 might be a bit tricky.

Oh wait a minute, I’m the dim one here. I totally misread this. So you had to be at least 18 during the years of 1919 to 1969. So the youngest person who qualifies for this ghetto lottery is like 61 or 62?

I'm always going to question if such funding came from the unconstitutional, unaccountable, vote-buying federal omnibus spending bill that desperate Democrats and RINOs passed while Democrats still had control of House after 2022 elections.

Unconstitutional federal spending is why both Democratic and Republican Trump supporters need to primary all incumbents up for reelection in state and federal governments, except for MTG, in 2024.

After all, lawmakers and executives continue to show that they do not have the patriotism and leadership skills necessary to find legislative support for effective remedies for unconstitutional government policies.

In fact, given that one of the very few powers that the states have expressly constitutionally given to the unconstitutionally big federal government to dictate peacetime domestic policy is to run the Mail Service (most federal domestic policy actually based on stolen state powers), the worst problem that the country would otherwise be looking at with a new Congress of freshman lawmakers is arguably a delay with mail delivery.

Trump can endorse candidates that Constitution-savvy patriots recommend as long as candidates are not incumbents, candidates also promising to repeal the 16th (direct taxes) and 17th (popular voting for federal senators) Amendments after they win office.

The definition of insanity is reelecting your beloved career state and federal lawmakers and executives over and over again, expecting those same politicians to find remedies for unconstitutional government policies every time.

The $10 million fund was initially supposed to come from tax cash from legal marijuana sales. When that proved too slow, the council agreed to allot real estate transfer tax money from properties worth more than $1 million.
