Great beer.

Such a great beer. And such a rich history. Those of us Out West who have enjoyed having Anchor Steam in our grocery store coolers are going to SERIOUSLY miss it.

Yes, it was worth it. Always worth defeating the Nazis.

Yes.

I was shocked to hear this.

Anchor Steam, Anchor Porter.

As good if not better than Guinness

. Thought I was fancy when I drank Michelob but I had no idea how much better beer could be.

It was different in those days. When I was in college in Front Royal, VA, the fanciest the pizza parlour had was Miller's version of Lowenbrau. You had to hunt to get Heineken, Beck's, Foster's, Guinness, Bass. Some of it was skunked. No Sam Adams or other local craft brews for the most part.

Exactly. Beat me to it. Just relocate and find a partner.

Bud Light needs a new brand, and a San Francisco motif fits their leadership.

Anchor Light+

(made from concentrate)

I think we are living in "Atlas Shrugged" days.

A local brewery that makes my favorite brew was recently bought by an “investment group”. We’ve already had issues with the kegs being over-carbonated, to the point that the things wouldn’t pour a decent glass.

Might have to shift my primary beer. Fortunately, I know a guy that’s in the process of building a new brewery from scratch.

Great job unions. Way to hike those wages only to have your members all without one today.
