Wow that is the end of an era and a sad day for sure. As a young man forty years ago, going from a steady diet of Bud, Coors, and Mickey’s Big Mouth to Anchor Steam was a real step up. Thought I was fancy when I drank Michelob but I had no idea how much better beer could be.

It was different in those days. When I was in college in Front Royal, VA, the fanciest the pizza parlour had was Miller's version of Lowenbrau. You had to hunt to get Heineken, Beck's, Foster's, Guinness, Bass. Some of it was skunked. No Sam Adams or other local craft brews for the most part.
