Just a Jew, or I presume an observant Jew. The “types” of Jews we refer to today is a relatively recent distinction historically, a couple centuries.

Also, Acts 15:5ff. No man is saved unless he repents of false religion and becomes a strict (New Testament) Christian. That includes Jews.

Erm...10 Commandments ring a bell? Those ARE WESTERN values that Islam contradicts and Mohammed broke just about every one of them.

Is there a distinct difference? Yes. Just ask Muslims. Ask the French. They are oil and water. The Crusades happened for a reason and only fools think it ended. Nothing has changed. The only lull was because the Crusades were successful. Now we have morons allowing them to take over from the inside without any fight whatsoever...believing they’re ‘enlightened’ in doing so, purely because of their own hatred for Christianity.

This new religion is very different from Judaism or Christianity. One must read the entire Qur’an to understand how completely it diverges from the Old and New Testaments. It is not, by any stretch, in the same category. Muslims recognize this. Modern Muslims condemn the entire Bible. Mere possession of a Bible is against the law, or at least highly dangerous in several Muslim countries.

I’m pretty sure Marxism’s core fundamental beliefs are based in atheism, which is based in gnosticism.
The development of Christian theology in the early centuries and later during the Renaissance owes more to Greek Philosophy than to Judaism.
The original Christianity was considerably modified before it became more successful than other contenders and became the state religion of the Roman Empire under Constantine. Subsequently, the theology was developed even more.

Western Civilization owes a lot to Islamic philosophers who kept learning alive during latter Dark Ages and Medieval period. Contacts between the Christian and Islamic world during the Crusades and in Spain were crucial.
Well, I concluded that Marxism was founded by Karl Marx, who was born in Germany and spent his life in Europe, and twisted Hegel and Kant to fit his philosophy. Flavors of atheism sprouted in different places spontaneously; many of them date back to pre-history. You could argue that it originated in Africa, or that the Neanderthals practiced it.
