Marxism is a value system founded in the West. People trying to escape “Western values” should shun it. On the other hand, Judaism and Christianity originated in Asia. Arguably, also beer, and civilization, but I digress.

Erm...10 Commandments ring a bell? Those ARE WESTERN values that Islam contradicts and Mohammed broke just about every one of them.
This is just hatred for western (i.e. ‘white Christian’) culture.
Is there a distinct difference? Yes. Just ask Muslims. Ask the French. They are oil and water. The Crusades happened for a reason and only fools think it ended. Nothing has changed. The only lull was because the Crusades were successful. Now we have morons allowing them to take over from the inside without any fight whatsoever...believing they’re ‘enlightened’ in doing so, purely because of their own hatred for Christianity.
Again, the New Testament was written by Jews (with the possible exception of Luke). It was written in the land of Israel. It makes constant reference to the Old Testament; in fact it is incomprehensible without the Old Testament as key. Its main character, Jesus, was an observant Jew, descended from King David.Also of course, Islam was not part of the foundation of Western Civilization. Islam is not ancient but is medieval.Nothing like the above can be said about Islam or the Qur’an. The Qur’an we know is in Arabic; there is debate about the language of the original material from which the Qur’an was compiled. The Qur’an was initially embraced by Arabs who had little cultural or genetic relationship to Jews of the land of Israel. The Qur’an is unstinting in its condemnation of Jews and Christians. The Qur’an takes bits and pieces of pre-existing Jewish, Christian, and Pagan material, garbles that material, and uses it to support a new religion, Islam. This new religion is very different from Judaism or Christianity. One must read the entire Qur’an to understand how completely it diverges from the Old and New Testaments. It is not, by any stretch, in the same category. Muslims recognize this. Modern Muslims condemn the entire Bible. Mere possession of a Bible is against the law, or at least highly dangerous in several Muslim countries.
The development of Christian theology in the early centuries and later during the Renaissance owes more to Greek Philosophy than to Judaism.
The original Christianity was considerably modified before it became more successful than other contenders and became the state religion of the Roman Empire under Constantine. Subsequently, the theology was developed even more.

The term Judeo-Christian is complex and controverted. Americans only use that term so as to appear inclusive. But what about the severe liberalness of American Jews? Those are not good Christian American values.
Was America founded on Judeo-Christian Values? No.
Do Americans live out a Judeo-Christian code of values today? No.
We wouldn’t have overcome Nazism, Communism, and segregation without the “Judeo-Christian Tradition” and “Western Civilization.” Calling them “dog whistles” for fascism is an insult to our parents and grandparents. Yes, we’re going to have to live with people who aren’t Christian or Jewish, but it’s still true that those faiths are the basis of our civilization.
