Why haven't we thought about "peacekeepers" before? It seems to be working out so well for Chicago!
Maybe peacekeepers need the Peacemaker, the colt single action revolver.
Does Colt still make the Peacemaker?
Older nineteenth century Model 1873s and Peacemakers are highly prized by collectors. Although extremely dated and obsolete, Colt still produces new copies of the Single Action Army for the modern market. nationalinterest.org
Meanwhile, Detroit is competing with Chicago for younger criminals and even more horrific crimes. And in Detroit it is a family affair!
“12-year-old girl charged after 11-year-old girl severely burned in acid attack at Detroit playground”
“Summers’ family said the 12-year-old girl’s mother handed her a bottle filled with liquid. They said the 12-year-old girl threw the liquid at Summers, her cousins, and her siblings. Summers suffered burns on her back, legs, and arms. She ran home after the attack.”
RE: next to the electronic monitoring bracelet he was wearing for a pending felony gun case
///////////////////////////////////
Johnelle: Is it true Jason bought me bracelet as a surprise gift after two timing me?
Jayqualla: No. Girl, wise up. He got one of them cop monitor bracelets himself, that’s all. Darn fool almost got it shot off but it hit his leg.
Two Chicago men were shot while working as “peacekeepers” in Little Village over the weekend, including one who was shot in the leg, right next to the electronic monitoring bracelet he was wearing for a pending felony gun case.
Not one of these liberal schemes are rooted in logic or common sense.
Our country is sounding more and more like a dystopian movie.
It’s like the goon squad from Princess Bride.
That worked out just about how the predictions went when they announced that plan.
Those acid attacks are incredibly evil. Old Chicago had a lot but then others in other cities began copycat crimes. India and other countries have a lot of them.
Worst is being permanently blinded and 2nd worst is having a disfigured face people can’t look at.
I have the TV series Deadline about the ancient era when journalists were objective and hard working. The columnist Victor Riesel was the subject of one episode. He was about to uncover union boss corruption and publish the expose but was ambushed and deliberately splashed in his eyes with sulfuric acid by a hired criminal. He was permanently blinded.
It should be a mandatory death sentence along with many other crimes.
Don’t mean to sound ugly but better them than police.
Little Village is just Tijuana’s little brother.
Hot town, summer in the city...
Obsolete is a term whose definition can vary.
One might say, “slow rate of fire”...
More from Chicago:
“Child sex offender impersonated doctor to access children’s wing of Chicago hospital: prosecutors”
From the above comment and the linked story:
“A warrant was issued for his arrest in June 2022, but he was only recently located by law enforcement, according to court records.
While Chothen must register as a sex offender for life, McCord said he has not done so since August 2016. He has been convicted of failure to register in 2004, 2006, 2013, and 2014, she said.
In addition to those convictions, Chothen was convicted of impersonating police in 2002; being a sex offender in a school zone in 2006; possessing a methamphetamine precursor in 2009; intimidation in 2009.
He is now charged with violating the sex offender registry act and presence in a children’s hospital by a child sex offender.”
I don’t understand why they are charging him. Apparently, there is no punishment for violating parole and committing additional crimes if you live in Chicago. The charge is just more paperwork for those paid to enter those soon-to-be ignored crimes into the computer.
45 Colt / 410 Bore Matte Stainless 2 in.
I saw that story about the acid attack. Heart breaking for the innocent girl.
Acid attacks, very third worldish .
When the Guardian Angels were active in NYC, I don’t recall any of them being under pending felony charges.
As Dennis Miller said about why he was moving out of LA: 'It starting making the city from Bladerunner look like a Norman Rockwell painting'.
