All would be fine if the west quit attacking farmers and quit destroying food production.

Takes more than one country to create a world wide famine. Especially when there are some that need one to happen to control people.

From Tass:
Turkey has shifted the orientation of its foreign policy somewhat following the NATO summit in Vilnius. “Erdogan met with Joe Biden. He said that a new stage had begun in the development of bilateral [US-Turkish] relations. [Ankara’s steering of a]n independent course - distancing itself from Washington, Moscow, Brussels and London - has at times given each of the key decision-making centers cause for anxiety,” Koshkin noted.

Erdogan also ticked off the Russians by releasing those 5 Azov Battalion commanders. This is not good. The most likely peace broker, short of Donald Trump, should be Erdogan. He was successful at it in the spring of ‘22.

Looks like they’d better take out the rail side of that bridge also.

A minor point -

The Turkish navy considerably outnumbers the Russian Black Sea fleet. And it seems it has substantial tech advantages too.

“Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia would suspend the Black Sea Grain Initiative until its demands to get its own food and fertilizer to the world are met.”

________

Sounds sensible enough. Make a deal.

F*** your food security concerns.

War does such. Not only kills but disrupts trade.

Want trade to resume? Quit bankrolling the war. YOU are the one profiting by this war, all suffering is your fault.

The Russians can tell the Ukrainians to ship their grain across the replacement bridge of the one the U.S. just blew up in Crimea.

Ukraine can just ship the grain through Poland. Those trains bringing in weapons and ammo can return with the grain.

Stupid games with stupid prizes.

The current crop of "world leaders" in the West -- which the WEF brags as having placed there in many instances ( yeah, Russia too ) -- seem so intent on "projecting power" and "color revolutions" (an Obama era term, one is reminded ) as to be actually upsetting a real-world apple cart. Those proverbial apples are spilling and spoiling. Behind the scenes, a small group of -- surprise -- "world leaders" and their chums are profiting all along the way.

Over in Denmark the socialists are trying to shutdown thousands of farms. The EU wants to do this to all the countries and John Kerry has said that we will need to do the same here in the USA.
