I had that thought and actually tried to define that disaster. I concluded that such a disaster needed to be really two, one in the east and one in the west.
Further, a coalition of what I term the City States control their own states and by extension America. The City States are the most dangerous American enemies.
However, in recent months I have come to realize the cataclysm is not only real but is actually in progress. I have come to believe that cities are already dying from internal rot for which there is no remedy.
Deetroit and Baltimore already suffered to the point of failure. Portland is now really just barely hanging on if not already failed. Chicago is failed as is Philadelphia. Memphis is in retrograde.
Aside from the fact that cities are obsolete, progressive government has not been forward but rather in actuality retrograde. The utopia desired is just not to be and in reality is hell
