BREAKING - THE NUMBERS ARE IN: How does he intend to win?

Same way he "won" last time. Corrupt elections in the swing states.

“Same way he “won” last time. Corrupt elections in the swing states”.

There’s no question the Democrat’s turnout machine was effective in certain locales, but don’t forget the Biden campaign ran about $2 billion in slickly produced feel good ads in all the competitive states. Those ads swayed numerous suburban GOP moderate women to abandon Trump, whose grating personality turned many suburban voters off. This, along with a complicit mainstream media, allowed this incompetent, bumbling lightweight to stumble his way into the White House.

The problem for 2024 is the same Democrat voting apparatus used in 2020 will still be in place in 2024 in the following locations: Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, Maricopa County, Fulton County (all critical swing states). There is nothing the GOP can do about this, as all those states (and their judiciaries) are controlled by Democrats. It’s true Georgia is controlled by the GOP, but since Trump primaried the sitting governor last year, he shouldn’t expect much help there. I’m not sure about Nevada, since they have a newly elected GOP governor.

Those Democrat machines can be overcome by bringing overwhelming numbers of suburban voters back into the fold (similar to what Glenn Youngkin did in Virginia, where he flipped a +10 Democrat state). Unfortunately, the suburban voters who abandoned Trump in 2018, 2020 and 2022 are still stridently opposed to him.

It is true he could bully his way to a GOP nomination, shredding his opponents in the process, and turning off and offending essential parts of a winning coalition. I am amazed that Trump has spent in excess of $25M in despicable attack ads (from the left!) against DeSantis, not to mention going out of his way to offend other successful GOP leaders (Brian Kemp, Kim Reynolds and numerous others).

Trump is for Trump. Unless GOP primary voters see through his narcissism they will be handing Biden and company 4 more years to further destroy the country. I like Trump well enough, but I like winning elections even more.

I fully expect to now be vilified on FR for making this common sense observation.
