Yesterday I was in a Tallahassee Walmart at midafternoon. Several times while going around the store all I could see were Chinese. One ahead of me in line spoke just a few words of English. A blogger I follow on China showed photos of the American embassy being mobbed by people seeking visas and said it was like that every moment it was open. But the easy way into the US is through Mexico. Millions of Chinese have read Xi’s book titled something like “Xi’s Thoughts.” It’s an updated Mao’s little red book. They are planning on leaving China as soon as they can. Having dealt with a few in the work environment they aren’t pleasant, collaborative people. They’ll cut your throat if they see an advantage in it. We have exactly the wrong government to deal with this issue.
