Shortly after the Obama era rogue Consumr Financial Protection Bureau was created it demanded every financial institution in the country, of any kind, regularly turn over to the CFPB data representing every transaction passed through them. And your stupid Congress critters did not object.
And then we learned this year that the intelligence agencies have been getting away with pretending they are not engaged in domestic spying. True, and false. They now BUY data from everyone that has it.
What is the CFPB and the intelligence community doing with all the data? Fishing expeditions. And as we have seen since 2016 those fishing expeditions may be very political.
