It does beg the question: “Why does Japan still have a consular office in Portland with the port being effectively closed since 2015?”

Can you imagine what it must feel like to know your ancestors have been here 400 years, yet you can barely read or write, most of your family is either on welfare or in prison, and everything you've ever "earned" was given to you as a sop?
Now, you see these "slanty eye'd devils" who spent their formative years in Communist China or in a Thai refugee camp, and they have a master's degree and speak English better than you could ever dream of.
Of course you're going to be filled with rage, and with poor impulse control, putting a beat down on the first "Chinaman" you see makes perfect sense.

Back in WWII, Chinese had to put up signs explaining they're Chinese and not Japanese, in order to stop assaults on them by other Americans.
Asians all look the same to blacks, who don't understand the differences. I was getting a haircut from a Vietnamese woman a few days ago, she had just returned from visiting Vietnam. I asked if she also visited Korea, Japan and other countries. She told me to never go to Korea, and blasted the culture and people. She was good with Japan and Thailand. But hated Koreans. My wife is Chinese-American, and gets upset when people think she's Philippina. Asians have their differences with each other, but I like them all.
Already explained my wife is Chinese-American, so my kids are mixed race. One of my daughters moved to Kansas when she got married and her husband wanted to settle near his family. Daughter has jet-black hair and Asian features. Small town in Kansas full of mostly white blondes. She got a job as a librarian there, and was annoyed that many local men would ask what tribe she was from, as if she was native-American-Indian. Never asked if she was Chinese or Japanese.

In a state, and city, where blacks truly constitute a “minority” of the population...WHY do so many crimes come from them? (Rhetorical).
