Desantis has increasingly demonstrated to me that he is a reactionary conservative lacking a thesis. He reminds me of a slew of politicians that got their start in the legislative branch: When pressed, they rely on their voting record to articulate their raisons detre for them rather than encapsulating and articulating it themselves.

I don’t think she’s completely wrong. Think of the 2016 primary - Trump insulted Rubio’s “manhood” and Cruz’s wife and they both came crawling to his Inauguration. It will be the same with DeSantis in the next couple months.
