The Democrats are not going to let Trump be on the ballot. There is no authority that can stop them. They will say he is ineligible because he organized an insurrection. The GOP will pretend to be angry and will hold hearings. The SC will pontious pilate and decline to insert themselves into the conflict. If people organize protests, they will be arrested as co-insurrectionists. His name will not be on the ballot in all or the majority of states. Some GOP schlub will graciously accept the job of losing the general election with no fight.

It's all over. Sign your bank account over to the Left wung cause of your choice. Get on the train when they tell you to. Let the pedos have their way with the children.

Along with the candidate 'advocacy' posts every election, especially in presidential years, we get the defeatist stuff on FR. In the latter it always seems to one way.

It would only take a handful of swing states to do this, all of which have Democrat governors and state secretaries.

That’ll be a pretty unpopular opinion.

But not *necessarily* far-fetched at all.

Clearly the puppetmasters want Trump to be the presumptive GOP nominee, up to and including rigging the polls (ya know, the ones which are always total BS except when they tell us good things): “Pollz say Trump gonna beat Biden, this time fur shurr!!1!”

That gets everyone all giddy with excitement and makes the crash even more painful when they pull the rug out (and sap all enthusiasm on the right) when he’s NOT the nominee and some uninspiring milquetoast is instead.

Even if it doesn’t play out that way, since Trump can’t win by getting ONLY the votes of his devout worshippers, the whole indictment & trial scenario is designed to pull off as many undecideds/independents as possible who surely won’t vote for a “criminal” (unless that criminal is a Democrat, of course).

The best and perhaps only hope in 2024 is for Manchin or RFK to pull a “Perot” and mix things up enough that Trump can still win despite getting no more than about 40% of the popular vote in a 3-way race.

There seem to be as many folks on the left seeking a better option than Biden (but sure as hell not Trump) as there are on the right seeking a better option than Trump (but sure as hell not Biden). If a 3rd party can pull off significantly more votes from the left than the right, which is possible but who knows how likely, then Trump has a chance.

Some of your thoughts are legit imo. The total voting public
isn’t going to accept Trump as their next President. He has
paid his dues for four years and now he needs to get behind a
candidate that has a chance to win GOP nomination and the
presidency come Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

This imo is going to be a hard choice for him as he isn’t used
to losing when he starts a project.

I think the voting public will behind Biden/Harris to win the
next the election. That way they have an opening to have the
first Female President in line to take office at some point
during the next four year term of the presidency. jmo.
