If Trump stays in the race, the nomination is his. If he leaves the race, then it’s Ramaswamy or Youngkin vs. Newsome or Michelle Obama or some combination of the two. Of all the of the other Republican candidates, Desantis is too damaged, and the others are non-starters with the Trump majority anyway.

I think he jumps in and quickly rises to the top if Trump is prevented from running/serving.

Youngkin won’t accept it. He was installed by the Deep State to counter Trump.

Remember when (former governor) Terry McAuliffe refused to call out snow-removal equipment, causing massive traffic tie-ups and fender-benders, and the MSM instantly blamed Youngkin, even though he hadn’t yet taken office?

“Youngkin won’t accept it. He was installed by the Deep State to counter Trump”.

I recall Trump taking credit for Youngkin’s victory, when in fact Youngkin had deftly kept his distance from Trump throughout that campaign. Explaining his victory, Youngkin explained his winning coalition consisted of Trump supporters, independents, moderate Republicans, disaffected Democrats and even a few never-Trumpers. With that coalition, he was able to flip a +10 Democrat state.

For 2024, Trump has his loyal supporters but the other groups listed above are out of his reach. More than anyone else, Trump is a known quantity. No one is changing their mind about him. Thus, he remains stuck in the low to mid-40s in all the general election scenarios with Biden. A Trump candidacy will inevitably lead to President Kamala Harris, but Trump loyalists either can’t see this or possibly don’t care.

If the Republicant’s allow the Democrat regime to pick which opposition candidates are allowed to run for office, I will never vote for another Republican again.

They could shutdown funding of the DOJ if they had any spine.

Sorry, I don’t agree. I was saying that Youngkin won’t want to be VP for Trump since the reason he is even a Governor is because the DS installed him. He is loyal to the DS. Kamala, Youngkin, RDS, etc., all serve the same master.
