“It does nothing, however, to explain why MPD Officer Lila Morris beat the unconscious Ms. Boyland with a walking stick while she lay prone and defenseless on the sidewalk.”
A police officers’ job is hard, but this in inexcusable. You simply do not beat the crap out of a woman who is down, especially when the woman, Ms. Boyland, had not been violent. Police officers should control their emotions. That was not the case here.
“Ms. Boyland traveled to Washington to attend President Donald Trump’s Jan. 6 speech at the Ellipse. ... She was the last of four of Mr. Trump’s supporters to die at the Capitol on Jan. 6.”
I believe one police officer died. Protesters were blamed for that, but the medical examiner concluded that death was due to natural causes.
The death toll suggests that the protesters were the victims.
Protestors were infiltrated by government law enforcement and their surrogates. I think that some of the apparent violence from protestors was actually from law enforcement and their surrogates. It was staged.
That is incorrect. A police officer who participated in the Jan. 6 events did die, but it was the next day, at home, from a stroke, unrelated to any Jan 6 events.
