They want the walls to close in on Biden so they can leverage him not running for reelection to use against Trump. I really think this is why DeSantis is reducing staff and cutting costs. I believe his campaign believes that without Trump nor Biden running, he could announce later in the year, save a boatload of money and still be the front runner.

The media is not going to change. There will never be a “reverse Watergate.” For any Democrat to actually face justice, it will take Republicans wielding the ever-dreaded government power. We will not tax cut the Biden’s to jail. There is not a free market solution to the issue.
Just “shining the light of truth” on the corruption won’t do anything. The institutions that should take the lead at that point (like the media and prosecutors and voting) have been subverted. It is going to take some heavy lifting and being called bad names for anything to be accomplished. I don’t see it happening.

The Dims may be dumb, but they’re not idiots. They (like the GOP) are well ahead of the general public with this information. They know what is and isn’t there. They’ll protect Biden as long as they can, but once they realize the evidence is all there and it’s coming out, they’ll try to give him a gracious out.
Quite honestly, the best we could hope for (other than the sound of a jail door slamming) is for this to continue to slowly grow, and eventually begin to envelop Slow Joe and his team sometime next April or May.

The Republicans will write two sets of letters, the first a stern warning that they know that the Biden family has committed some alleged illegal actions and the Republicans may send a letter to the Justice Department to look into it. The second letter will be to the rubes asking for donations to the Republicans because we need to elect more establishment Republicans to get things done in Washington.
As to the Democrats they will send the Justice Department, F.B.I., I.R.S.,A.T.F.& Postal Service Police, after all the people making these “false accusations” and spreading “misinformation”. The cable news outlets will have live coverage of the 5:00A.M. raids of those people so the American people will know that the Democrats, Federal Government,& our news media are taking action to save our “democracy”!
