Ukraine has launched a major push to dislodge Russian forces from the country’s southeast as part of its weekslong counteroffensive, committing thousands of troops to the battle, according to Western and Ukrainian officials and analysts.
The surge in troops and firepower has been centered on the region of Zaporizhzhia, a Western official said late Wednesday.
The official was not authorized to comment publicly on the matter and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Every reputable military analysist I’ve read say the Zelenskyites need a 3-1 military advantade to dislodge the Russians. They don’t have that. Too many have been killed.
Retired Col. MacGregor claims approximately 35K Ukraine soldiers remaining. Russian forces drawing them out. Then a measured offensive into Ukraine.
Drones. Yes, they are extremely efficient use of resources. For a few thousand dollars they can take out anything from personnel to tanks. Whereas using tanks, apcs, aircraft and personnel cost millions.
And the AP is not a propagandist?
I recall the days when embedded reporters would often give live coverage of war events. In particular the first gulf war. It was seemingly honest reporting that left little room for propaganda to flourish. Where are the honest embedded reporters for this war giving live coverage?
Today both sides of the war, including and especially our very own mainstream news, including AP, is carrying the governments water over anything the DNC wants.
Any US news is no more accurate than Russian news. The only thing accurate is the US taxpayers are funding a war that we have no business in. It’s a Euro war. Period. As far as I am concerned the warmongers here, from both sides, can go pound sand.
