Heavyweight oil producer Saudi Arabia will extend a 1-million-barrel-per day voluntary crude oil output cut into September, in the third month of such declines, the state-owned Saudi Press Agency said Thursday.

Gosh, if we only had our own oil fields, we wouldn’t be so beho.cen to those who hate us!, and wouldn’t be paying so high a price for gasoline!

Makes perfect sense. If you can reduce production and still get similar revenue, it is a good deal. The Russians are also reducing production. In the meantime, Biden is drawing a million bbls a day from the SPR, which is at its lowest level in 40 years.
No outside, third party has ever been allowed to audit Saudi oil reserves (Kind of like Ft Knox). Wonder if they are running out? They’ve been pumping for a long time.
