We all would love IF there was MORE to this story, BUT the fact is many drunk/drugged people die all the time in and around the water in the summer.
Even people who are excellent swimmers drown sometimes within a few feet of the shore. This happened to one of my father in laws best friends in Camden Harbor, ME on an August night.
They all were experienced sailors who knew how to swim. The three of them went out to the bar. Two went back to the boat. One decided to stay for one more drink. They found him floating in the harbor the next morning 15’ from shore. He had a bruise on his head. They figured he slipped getting into the dingy. He was 52 years old.
Don’t drink and boat.
Don’t drink and board.
Will there be an autopsy?
