I still find it hard to believe any Judge with an ounce of integrity would allow this to get this far. The House Judiciary should be impeaching every judge involved so far in this sham.
Venue shopping. I grew up in Mississippi and every lawyer in the state knows there are a couple of counties where you'll strike gold if you can find a client that's black and sue a big corporation. It doesn't matter what for, just get the case filed in the right jurisdiction in front of the right judge, pick the right jurors and you'll get a multi-million dollar settlement. It'll get reversed or decreased on appeal, but you'll still make millions because they'll settle rather than risk it standing.
This is just the political shakedown version of the same thing. Get a rabid leftist prosecutor to file a sham case in front of an Obama appointed leftist judge in a jurisdiction which guarantees a jury pool that's almost completely composed of Trump haters. Sit back and let them do their thing, a conviction is almost guaranteed. It'll eventually get thrown out because it's a joke, but it's purpose will have been served of damaging his campaign for president.
That's what this is all about. The sad part is how it completely obliterates any legitimacy of our justice system. The U.S. now has as much moral authority as Hugo Chavez and Nicolas Maduro.
