For example, for a LONG time in Europe, nobody thought about being white…they were French, British, German or whatever national identify was in fashion. Within a country, they were upper class, middle class, lower class, etc.
The fighting, rioting, wars….was along those dimensions. They were all white, but nobody cared about race. It wasn’t important. But those filthy _____, well, we need to kill ‘em all. Indeed, that sentiment was well-captured in Blazing Saddles.
The lecturer posited that it wasn’t until the aristocracy and “the betters” realized they were outnumbered by the Little People, that they weaponized race. “Hey, all you grubby filthy people who want to kill me and pillage my wealth…don’t do that - you’re white, just like me! It’s the blacks/Asians/Indians/plaid that you want to hate.”
It’s a good theory, and I need to do some investigation. But anecdotally, it seems accurate. Today, untold numbers of people identify chiefly by the color of their skin, because some Elite human piece of excrement decided what was best for us and him.
And then, whites elect to become stupid and blame the blacks, eg well, why can I wear a white pride shirt they get a whole month they should be happy they’re here blah blah blah. Indeed, I see scores of normally rational people since 2020 getting triggered when some race-baiter makes an asinine comment. Back in the day, we’d mock the likes of the Jesses. Today? My white brethren take the bait, and Satan laughing spreads his wings.
Taking a hint from the lecturer, the self-identification by race should be revealed for what it is: a very clever manipulation, a diversionary tactic, designed to pit us against each other so the master of puppets can eat steak in comfort.
Now, of course you can’t ignore skin color. But letting it live rent-free in your head is surrendering your liberty to an elitist who’s dead. A smarter move, is to recognize the REAL enemy/ by WHOM it’s being weaponized.
