In the mid 1990s, I tried to tell folks the Illegal Immigration
issue was the problem of every citizen in every district.
I was told it was California’s problem. I pointed out
California does not set immigration law, and folks just
laughed.
Thirty years later, guess what it is. It’s the problem of
every citizen in every district.
Bam!
It’s more than just the USA. Canada and Western Europe has the same problem.
The entire Third World is bent on moving here and there, from whatever, as Donald Trump so rightly put it, “$#ithole” country they’re leaving.
I don’t know what will ever done about it. I think this is the fifth mass wave of immigration in human history. First, was the American Indians into the Americas, Then the Indo-Europeans into Europe, then the Barbarians and Germanic/Hun tribes into the Roman Empire, and then the Western Europeans into North and South America, Australia, New Zealand (South Africa, a little).
Will the last African leaving Africa for Europe please turn out the lights? Middle Easterners, too.
